Arsenic & Old Lace
Presented by Tumbleweed Creative Arts & Jackson Community Theater

Arsenic and Old Lace is a dark comedy about Mortimer Brewster (Josh Griffith), a drama critic who discovers his sweet, elderly aunts, Abby and Martha (Rhea Lewis and Linda Rode), are serial poisoners who have been killing lonely old men by serving them arsenic-laced elderberry wine. The discovery happens on the day Mortimer secretly marries his sweetheart, Elaine Harper (River Grace Nelson), and he tries to stop his aunts while a host of other characters complicate the situation, including his brother Jonathan (Jake Morrison), a criminal who has had his face changed, and his other brother Teddy (Ian Chapman), who believes he's Teddy Roosevelt...

This production unites beloved Jackson performers and a new generation of talent, marking the first collaboration between Tumbleweed Creative Arts and Jackson Community Theater. A classic comedy revived for a community that loves its stories a little strange.

Arsenic and Old Lace is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.
