The Fourth Nail
A Staged Reading
Written & Directed by R.W. Berky

A dark-age comedy about relics, redemption, and ridiculousness. The Fourth Nail returns to the stage for the first time since its 2008 premiere; a sharp, hilarious work from MacArthur “Genius” and physical theatre master R.W. "Bob" Berky.

Two Crusaders (played by Golden Garnick and Andrew Munz) come home from the Holy Land burdened with guilt, greed, and bags full of questionable holy relics. When they cross paths with a deranged alchemist (Berky) and a blind king (Broughton Coburn), chaos and revelation collide.

Equal parts satire, slapstick, and spiritual inquiry, The Fourth Nail proves that humanity’s absurdities haven’t changed much in a thousand years...
